How does Plumline construct and reflect its intended audience?

Plumline constructs and reflects its intended audience through the title as the school magazine is called “Plumline” the beginning part refers to the school. Also the colours reflect Plumstead Manor as the red and green background is the colours of the school uniform. We are also able to see a small image of what Plumstead Manor is reconstructed into this clearly represents the school and what it will look like in the future. The articles that have displayed on this cover and every cover that is issued is written by a student from Plumstead Manor this itself constructs to its audience as they are students that study at Plumstead Manor. This would influence the audience to want to read the magazine because they more likely to read the work of someone their own age or someone who they are familiar with. The picture that have been used are of students that attended Plumstead Manor from students in year 8 to year 10 this would grab a people’s attention and reflects the audience by showing who they are. The font that has been used is very simple this suggests that the reader may be of a young age. The subheads and the language used in this magazine are also very easy and simple to understand for the audience. An image has been included of two students playing with a balloon this shows the audience in a childlike way  also referring to the audience with would interest them.
